These buffalo fried pickles are a fun and delicious twist on classic fried pickles! Made with just a few simple and wholesome ingredients, this is the perfect better-for-you appetizer for all the your football festivities.

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and seasonings. Next, add in Primal Kitchen Buffalo Sauce and water. Mix until the batter is smooth.
  • Add avocado oil to a cast iron skillet filling the pan about 1-inch high. Turn to medium heat until it reaches about 350 degrees F or until sizzling. Note: you want the oil hot but not splattering so it's best to heat slowly on medium heat!
  • Using tongs, coat each pickle in the batter. Add to the hot oil for about 2 minutes each side or until golden brown and crispy. Fry in batches of about 8-10 pickles at a time, leaving room in between.
  • Remove from the batter and place on a wire rack to cool. Serve with Primal Kitchen Ranch and enjoy!
