Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • cup oat milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract or peppermint extract

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together cacao powder and maple syrup until a paste forms. Slowly add in a small portion of the oat milk and vanilla extract. Whisk until there are no clumps.

Stovetop Instructions:

  • Add this mixture to a saucepan on low heat along with the remaining oat milk. Stirring often, allow the mixture to warm up for about 5 minutes (or until fully warmed).
  • Transfer to a mug, top with marshmallows, and enjoy!

Microwave Instructions:

  • Add the rest of the oat milk to the bowl (you may need to transfer to a larger bowl to microwave so none spills over). Microwave for about 1-2 minutes or until warmed to your liking.
  • Transfer to a mug, top with marshmallows, and enjoy!
